The OECD Gender Data Portal includes selected indicators shedding light on gender inequalities in education, employment, entrepreneurship, health, development and Governance, they cover OECD member countries, as well as partner economies including Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, and South Africa.
the Social Institutions and Gender Index (SIGI) also from the OECD has cross-country measures of discrimination against women in social institutions.

They make the point that while on average they are better off over a life time men 130,000 to womens 100,000. “we estimate that one in five students – or about 70,000 every year - would actually have been better off financially had they not gone to university”. Mapping women’s Suffrage 1911
a fabulous project with a new site from the University of Warwick. It maps the locations and places associated with women’s rights campaigners in 1911. It includes suffragists and suffragettes and details of the 1911 Census boycott. The data was chosen as campaigns were at their height and it clearly shows the gepographical spread . Also available are biographies of campaigners , links to academic articles, podcasts and websites

Another useful resource foe those interested in international relations. A list of vetoes and decisions. It has been prepared and maintained by the Dag Hammarskjöld Library. Data from 1946-2004 were taken from the official list of vetoes contained in document A/58/47, Annex III. They link through to United Nations documents such as drafts, meeting records and agenda items.

Law and Climate Change Toolkit
The Law and Climate Change Toolkit is an online open access database being developed by a partnership by the UN Climate Change secretariat, UN Environment, and the Commonwealth Secretariat working in close collaboration with partner countries,The key features of the toolkit include functionalities to search existing climate change-related legislation and to undertake an assessment of a selected country’s legislation. It will include a separate section with case studies of lessons learned. Topics covered include energy related laws and urban adjustments. More is being added.
