this includes accessibility, cost and licensing issues. Users to the site can take a quiz and explore the isues at stake

An initiative to digitize and describe hundreds of thousands of Indigenous-related collection items in Library and Archives Canada's (LAC) holdings

it now has a Google map of collections that have been discovered across Canada

 

 

Kanaan  Gaza’s first digital archive of historical buildings and heritage sites
launched a multi-dimensional platform called Kanaan established in 2019 by al-Sallaq, 27

Which  offers a virtual tour of Gaza’s centuries-old cultural history.

Named after the Canaanites who first settled Gaza thousands of years ago, Kanaan has so far listed  311 historical buildings and 76 archaeological sites on the Strip. includes English and Arabic text the website and Instagram

it is maintained by the owners of newspapers the Mirror and Express it can be searched by time, date location

Addressing health

Fascinating 3 year project which is examining the  occupational Health in the Victorian and Edwardian Post Office.  Funded by a Wellcome Collaborative Award in Humanities and Social Science. It  is a collaboration between King’s College London, Kingston University, University of Derby and University College London, in partnership with The Postal Museum. A key focus are the health, sickness and  death of employees by age and geographic location. They are currently transcribing records relating to staff illness, pensions and death certificates. Presentations, blog posts and publication outputs will be posted on the website
