Afrobarometer SDG Scorecard series
Launched recently by the Afrobarometer public opinion polls, they allow African citizens in individual nations to score their own country on how well they think it is doing in terms of sustainable development goals. These can then be compared with the official progress reports on the Un website
ECLAC Digital Repository revamped
The ECLAC Digital Repository provides free access to the full text of ECLAC (Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean) publications from 1948 to the present day. Some audiovisual materials are also available . There is also a covid-19 collection.

Interesting report on Uk academic careers in Higher education . The report covers 2012-2019. It shockingly reveals that Men and white members of staff are over-represented at senior levels compared to their proportion in the academic workforce more generally. 29% of senior academics (senior lecturers, readers, professors) are female; 13% are from an ethnic minority

Don’t Look Away: No place for exclusion of LGBTI students (UNESCO)
International LGBTQI Youth and Student Organisation (IGLYO) and UNESCO’s Global Education Monitoring Report released findings from research and surveys on the situation of LGBTQI students across the world showing widespread evidence of homophobia and transphobia. Worryngly, 54% percent of LGBTQI people have experienced bullying in school at least once based on their sexual orientation, according to a survey of more than 17,000 children and young people aged 13 to 24. The survey also showed that 83% of students had at least sometimes heard negative comments towards LGBTQI students, and 67% had been the target of negative comments at least once. The majority of students (58%) never reported bullying incidents to any school staff and fewer than 15% of respondents systematically reported their experiences of bullying to any school staff
Rohingya Cultural Memory Centre
The International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the Rohingya community have jointly launched the Rohingya Cultural Memory Centre which aims to preserve and provide a for the heritage of the Rohingya people . This will include a physical building for refugees in the Cox’s Bazaar area as well as an online repository. This lists useful resources, books and will include images and artefacts
