It provides free access to thousands of high quality digitised manuscript pages from Timbuktu, religious building images and more. It includes teacher lesson plans which celebrate the culture of the region and its intellectual and artistic history
Devil’s Porridge museum has been undertaking a massive project to put together a database of worker records from HM Factory Gretna the largest cordite munitions factory in the world during the first world war. The searchable database includes the names and some details about women workers. There are links to find my past and census materials in some cases.
