It revisits an earlier 2015 report considering the changing research landscape and the use of metrics in the REF and HE recruitment and promotion.

In her initial address of about 40 minutes she gives an inspiring talk on how excellence, university sustainability, and transformation are all interdependent - a university cannot achieve excellence or a sustainable future without transforming itself to take advantage of all human potential. she then talks for about 20 minutes on staffing practices in the Cape Town university. At the end, in answer to how she copes with backlash, there are some really inspiring comments worth hearing on building a cathedral

this WHO report published this week shows that the number of disabled people is estimated currently at 1.3 billion people – or 16% of global population worldwide – and they are at increased risk of dying earlier due to health inequalities.

it provides a key mapping of areas of London which are of significance to the history of Muslims in London. It includes biographies of key figures.
