Clayoquot Lives
An ecofeminist story-  
an online archive of materials related to the 1993 Peace Camp in Clayoquot Sound, Canada. This was set up by activists to protest against rainforest logging. The site includes oral histories, photographs and  papers from those involved.
Niamh Moore co wrote an academic journal article on 
 the ethics of creating the digital archive.by academic feminists 

  

WYQS African Rainbow stories
West Yorkshire Queer Stories has collected stories about LGBTIQ+ life, in the North of England .They include an African Rainbow collection 

The group is “ a non-for-profit charitable organisation that supports lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender intersexual and queer (LGBTIQ) people of African heritage and the wider Black Asian Minority Ethnic groups” . Access the recordings and life stories from members. 

  

Lesbians talk series now digitised 

A  influential collection of 7 pamphlets from feminist non-fiction publishers Scarlet Press which were published between 1992 and 1996. Now online via the Bishopsgate institute. They provide a fascinating insight into the concerns and viewpoints of the Lesbian community at the time. Topics covered include: HIV, transgender activism and the experiences of black and Asian lesbians. 

  

  

UN Sanctions App
From the Global Governance Centre at the Graduate Institute in Geneva, Switzerland. Maps all UN sanctions and where they are applied, including their impact on humanitarian action and local communities. Website provides information on frequency of updates and coverage. It includes guides to types of sanctions 

  

Virtual Tour: Bonnets, Bandoliers and Ballot Papers
The National Museum of Ireland 

have created this great online exhibition tour focussing on   

campaign for women’s rights in Ireland 1880s-1920s  

 

Migrant Rights Initiative
Has recently published an interactive data visualization of its Migrants Rights Database . This provides mappings of country files exploring the degree of  legal rights accorded to migrants in over 60 categories. Check methodology and updates 

 

The Charles Dickens Illustrated Gallery
 A New Online Collection presents all of the original illustrations from Charles Dickens’ Novels. It is a a 
project of Dr Michael John Goodman, free lance researcher. The website provides information on the sources
